I grew up on our families 80 Mile Beach property, Mandora Station and have always been in the cattle industry. I am now owner and manager of Yanrey Station and a partner in Hooley Station in the southern Pilbara Region. I own a transport company and cart cattle as part of our vertically integrated family business. I have always believed in the cattle industry and am interested in taking more of a leadership role. I’m passionate about keeping the right people in industry and providing support for innovative producers wanting to grow their businesses. Family operations are a key part of keeping the industry connected. The future of the cattle industry lies in vertical integration and working together more effectively. We have a progressive and dynamic industry and need to promote this more effectively. I also believe issues such as long haul transporting of cattle and preg testing on stations need to be talked about so we can find solutions and move forward for our industry. I am looking forward to working on behalf of the pastoralists as part of the Executive to make this happen.
