Joe Paull
SecretaryI have grown up in the pastoral industry on Noreena Downs Station in the Pilbara. I’m currently joint manger of Noreena with my sister, where we run a mix heard of Droughtmasters, Brahmanas and shorthorn cattle for the live export and domestic markets. I’m passionate about the beef industry and I’m in the for the long haul with an open mind about future markets and how we need to get ready for them. Growing up in the pastoral industry, I have seen many changes come in a short time. One of the changes I believe strongly in is the move to low stress stock handling and better animal welfare. I am very interested in better land management and regeneration of pastures. I have also worked in the cropping sector of agriculture and in mining and construction which I have found to be useful in bringing different ways to deal with problems to the table.
