I have been involved in the cattle industry for over 30 years, starting in the NT as a 15 year old jackeroo and working my way up through the industry as a stockman, pilot, cattle-buyer, head-stockman & manager. Beef cattle production and supply is an industry that I am passionate about. I have had exposure to most forms of mustering, sales and operating environments. I have been on various committees including the NTCA, VRDCA and chaired the Katherine Weeds Advisory Committee. My current role is with Rio Tinto Iron Ore (RTIO) as a Superintendent for their inland pastoral operations where I work on positive interaction between mining and pastoral industries. I aim at placing a commercial focus on RTIO properties and work at promoting professionalism within our industry. I enjoy working with the KPCA Executive Committee for the benefit of the beef industry and those that work within it.
